Why should your Church consider using technology to help it grow?Ā And isn’t technology bad?
These are two questions that Churches struggle with often, but they shouldn’t.
To answer the first question:Ā there are generations of people who use social media and Google to search for new places all the time (a new Church included).Ā If you’re not showing up in their search, they very well may go to another Church because they found what they were looking for online (hours, location, social media accounts, more about the Pastor, doctrine, etc.).
For the second question, the answer is yes and no.Ā Let me explain.Ā Technology in and of itself is neutral, it just depends on what you do with it that makes it good or bad.Ā Churches using technology to reach their community and the world for Christ makes technology a very good thing.
